Computer-Controlled Measurement Technology

ChenYang Technologies GmbH & Co.KG focuses on the development of computer-controlled measuring systems for the measurements of electrical, geometrical and mechanical quantities.

Computer-controlled measuring and testing technique has quickly been developed in the last years with the help of microelectronics and finds increasing applications to sciences and engineerings. Using this technique not only measurements and documentations can be automated, but also the reliability and measuring accuracy can be improved by self-diagnosis and digital signal processing.

A computer-controlled measuring system consists of a PC-system or notebook and an individual measuring device/sensor or several measuring devices and sensors. The system is controlled by the PC-system through a parallel interface (IEEE488.2/GPIB) or serial interface (RS232C,RS-485). With the help of a GPIB-ENET/100 adapter, measurements and data transfer can be realized by PC-systems at different working places, which are connected through an Ethernet network.

CCMS: computer-controlled measuring system

ChenYang researchs and develops cost favourable customer orientated computer-controlled measuring and monitoring systems. We take a monitoring system of electrical equipments as example. The analog output signals from the current, voltage, frequency, power and temperature sensors/transducers are selected through the multiplexer and converted in digital signals and then input into the PC system. The PC system processes the signals and outputs the results for monitoring and measurements
